Promising start against tough, physical opposition. Highlights our need for a big, strong centre-forward. Effort was very good.
Poor second half, we have got to get forwards in and soon. We have Yeates and Johnson just waiting for a taget man in the box. Great atmosphere considering the poor quality of the game.
A Hard earned point in the end. Add a striker or two and we will win games in this league.
A steady performance lacking in creativity going forwards, rarely looked dangerous. Emmnes and Aliadiere given no service at all.

With other results subsequently going for us, this was an opportunity to put a bit of daylight between us and the bottom spurned... the point could be crucial in the final shake up, but the Alves miss could be a deciding factor for our survival or not.
Awful, lucky to get away with it - Alves should have wrapped it up. Fear it may just be prolonging the inevitable anyway.

A very good away display, we need to carry this on into the premiership.
A win would have been a dream but we can take a lot from this game and finish the job off at the Riverside.
An altogether massive improvement, players looked cohesive and passed the ball a lot better than of late. Nice to see heads didn't drop when Spam equalised. Gotta take our FA Cup form into the PL games now.. The garden certainly isn't rosy yet, but the shoots of optimism are there to be seen!!

Once again, our keeper claims the plaudits; it SHOULD be Alves for scoring at least 2 goals, but an inspired performance by the opposition keeper (how many times has this been said berore!) and on his debut to boot, swayed the vote for me.. Fans performance 8/10 today.
Another game where we should have come away with something. Enough chances made but all of them squandered. Not a bad display but certainly a bad result.

Team selection a farce, performance poor, far from good enough.
With the limited resources provided by mr gibson. g.s. still failed use what he has got to the best effect, tuncay plays centre midfield for his country, why not boro., then play king and alves up front, especialy at home, it was embarassing to watch.
Too negative when we need 3 points! 90 minutes of Bates was the worst decision by a manager in decades.
A shocking inditement that our goalkeeper needed to be man of the match against a team only one place above us and on our turf.
In such an important game, a gutless display begs the question. DO THEY CARE?

No belief; No hunger; No passion; No heart; No fight; No hope.. After the decision to allow WBAs 1st goal to stand, all confidence evaporated, and the inevitabiliy of a defeat to the bottom team in the PL was evident to all in the visitors' stand, compounded by the very harsh sending off of Digard.

I enjoyed the game and would love to see the stats. We must have had 25-30 shots on target with their keeper playing superbly, no wonder is a under 21 international. 2-1 was not a true reflection of the game in my opinion.
Should have buried them midfield again failed to dominate.
