1.0 Charity Night

Friday 11 May will be the date for the next Twe12th Man charity event. This will be held at the Eston & Normanby Social Club.

Entry - £1 on the door, hopefully Cliffy will help with this.
Quiz - MC, Geoff Thomas will host 5 rounds of quiz questions, ably assisted by T12M representatives.
Tombola - Arranged by Margaret Johnstone
Raffle - Prizes include signed MFC Home shirt, signed MFC football, Official MFC DVD's and Books, Official Twe12th Man Framed 'Spirit of Steaua' Pic.
Karaoke - hosted by contact of Paddy's.

A donation will be made to Zoe's Place registered Charity and Rachel will be there from Zoe's Place to give a small speech of the charity and thanks.

£50 needs to be paid to Mick Johnstone for the club and £60 for the karaoke.

GT to ensure thanks are given to Margaret, The Venue and everyone's general support.







2.0 Retro Day

Sunday 13 May will see the last game of the season as a Retro Day, everyone has been encouraged to go to the game in an old MFC shirt. Guests from the past will be at the ground, and there will be a price reduction on the concourse.

MFC and Media to acknowledge that this event was initiated by the
Twe12th Man.

3.0 Summer Activity

The website was discussed and agreed that it needs updating. There are a few options for updating including GT's company Lateral Advertising and a Canadian Supporter who's details can be gained through Rob at FMTTM. This will enable us to have a focal point, message board and shop. GT to bring web information to the next meeting. It was also suggested that Steve from 'Come on Boro' may be available to host the site!

The Legends Banner is on course for the summer. GT/JD to speak to Anthony Vickers Re: 12M Advertising.

4.0 Flags

GT advised those present, following the success of the initial Twe12th Man Heritage Flags, that there are two further flags currently in production which it is hoped will be available for the first home game of the 2007/08 Season. One design has been finalised and will incorporate the colours of Steaua Bucharest with the words Spirit of Steaua with a yellow star in the centre of a red and blue halved background. The size of this flag is 12ftx 12ft Square. The second is a plain red flag which will be larger at 16ft x 12ft and plain Boro Red. Suggestions for its branding were offered and include:

A) Southgate Flag - Clenched Fist Image with suitable wording
B) League Cup Champion Flag - Stylised Image, again with suitable wording
C) Holgate Flag - MFC Lion with suitable wording
D) 'Twe12th Man Lions' Flag - Stylised Lion image with suitable wording similar in style to those seen on the continent

GT to produce design options for the next meeting. There was also chat about waving the flag after each goal, the group to look into the possibility of asking for two volunteer fans from the front row of the North Stand to assist with this on a regular basis.

5.0 Presentations & PR

The group to organise appropriate press coverage alongside the presentation of Charitable donations from the events held thus far. JD to contact Teesside Hospice, Zoe's Place and appropriate media in this regard.

6.0 Emails

Not much to advise from Emails although support is being received from around the world with suggestions and ideas. However the signing section was mentioned and discussed at length. It was proposed that a separate meeting should be held to chat about all ideas.

7.0 AOB

Dave Dyson, Treasurer is setting up a Twe12th Man bank account, GT and JD to provide relevant paperwork to complete the formalities.
