2. Finance Report
Overview
- Treasurer reported favourable balances on Current and Deposit Accounts.
- No payments outstanding currently.
- Merchandise update given; suggestions for items welcomed.
Report accepted as a true record.
3. Letter to Businesses
- As suggested in Feb meeting, an outline invitation to local companies for indirect sponsorship of the website in return for links promoting their business/website was drafted by JD.
- This was discussed, commented on, and suggestions offered for finalising before distributing. JD would resub further via email to Core and begin to send out once agreed.
4. Future Activity
- It was remarked that there seemed to be apathy from within MFC, with no responses forthcoming following 12M contact on various topics, suggestions, etc, eg: FA Cup ties being ideal opportunity for match promotions, giveaways
- The group felt that proposals suggested to MFC, and subsequently taken up by them, had not given 12M due acknowledgement, and the group had suffered from being perceived as 'inactive'
- Agreement from the floor to follow up by writing to Neil Bausor, Dave Allan, to express displeasure at the lack of communication, and to request (again) the minutes from the Rockcliffe meeting last May (08)
- The banner on the theme of "Its In The Blood" was to be priced up; PB to be invited to submit designs for agreement before being manufactured.
- Discussed a proposal to MFC of the viability for 'block seating' for away games, for 12M coach users.
5. E-mails and correspondence
- John Sutton, Evening Gazette, had contacted 12M for opinion on their "Keep The Faith" campaign.
JD responded on behalf of the group.
6. A.O.B.
Programme notes -
- Members reminded to volunteer to submit article for each home game. The programme is an important platform to ensure 12M profile, and is a worthwhile communication outlet for the group.
- No outstanding responses were due for correspondence.
Meeting concluded @ 22:00 hrs
